Cultivating The Clyde - Andrew Strachan - May 2012 - Final Model
These are a few images of the final model I made for my Final Year Thesis. The model base was cut from acrylic and covered with 15 coats of spray paint before my proposal was constructed from 0.6mm black walnut veneer. A “border” of 6mm MDF was build around the edges to finish off the model.
“Cultivating The Clyde” won the 2012 GIA (Glasgow Institute of Architects) Final Year Award - GIA Parchment - awarded to only one student each year for excellence regarding their Final Year Thesis.
